Peter Rowan is a bluegrass singer-songwriter with a career spanning over five decades. He spent his early years under the tutelage of Bill Monroe, and then onto “Old and in the Way” with Jerry Garcia. Tony Rice spans the range of acoustic music, from straight-ahead bluegrass to jazz-influenced new acoustic music, to songwriter oriented folk. At one time he was part of the David Grisman Quartet. The Travelin’ McCourys are known for their ability to play with just about anyone. As the sons of bluegrass legend Del McCoury, they continue their father’s work – a lifelong dedication to the power of bluegrass music to bring joy into people’s lives.
Together, they will bring alive the music of bluegrass patriarch Bill Monroe.
